We pride ourselves on our ability to meet your deadlines – however demanding – and are proud of our record in managing time-critical consignments, delivering bulk raw materials for just-in-time manufacturing processes.

At Dodd’s we like to use a bit of common sense when it comes to distribution. Throughout the Group, we run night trunking operations to take advantage of lighter traffic conditions, which we think makes a lot of sense. Night distribution extends our loading deadlines – giving you the maximum working day prior to collection without compromising an early delivery at the other end. Our contract drivers are also licensed to load and unload deliveries themselves – just another bit of common sense that we hope will come in helpful.

We know that our customers sometimes have to deal with the unexpected, so we make sure we are ready and waiting with a safety net that really works for you. Our large, well-maintained fleet includes a number of non-dedicated vehicles. This capacity allows us to allocate resources to urgent, unscheduled jobs across the UK.
